1. Bulgaria
While most people would not initially consider Bulgaria when looking at European countries to visit, it should most definitely not be overlooked. Bulgaria has a rapidly growing Digital Nomad community for a number of reasons.
The cost of living in Bulgaria is exceptionally low, meaning that the average person can live comfortably for around £800 per month. A vast improvement on countries such as England.

The most popular city for Digital Nomads in Thailand is Chang Mai. However, there are lots of alternatives that are just as promising. Cities such as Bangkok offer cafes with high speed internet, co-working spaces, cheap accommodation and many western luxuries.
Of course, one of the main appeals of Thailand are the stunning beaches. It is entirely possible to live and work on one of the many islands, and the cost is not that much higher. Therefore, it deserves its spot on the list of cheap places to work remotely.
3. Belize
Belize is a lesser known Digital Nomad haven, but it won’t be for long. Located in Central America, right next to Mexico, Belize has gorgeous beaches, a multitude of islands and friendly, helpful locals.

A geographically diverse country with stunning cities and incredible food, Colombia is slowly attracting more Digital Nomads. Not only does it have reliable WiFi, but its cost of living is around £1000 per month.
Fans of Latin America will adore Colombia’s location, along with the history the country has to offer. If great weather and relaxation are appealing, try Bogota. 5. Georgia
One of Georgia’s main appeals is that citizens of the US, UK, Australia and others can stay for up to a whole year without any form of Visa. This means you can really take your time as you explore the Vineyards, historial monuments and amazing restaurants that the country has to offer.
Georgia is in a prime location for travelling outwards, surrounded by Europe and Asia; spend time in Turkey, Russia, Armenia and others without having to stray far from your initial location.
Georgia has a very low crime-rate, so along with its cheap prices, it feels like a very safe and affordable place to be. Stay in the capital, Tbilisi, where almost everyone speaks English and day trips to other arts of the country are common. It’s no wonder most people end up staying longer than anticipated.
